Hazrat Musa (Moses, peace be upon him) is the most quoted prophet in the Quran. His life is a living example of strong faith, perseverance, and guidance from Allah.

Born to an Israelite family in the time of Pharaoh's tyrannical rule, Musa's mother hid him in a basket on the Nile to protect him from being killed. He was found and brought up in the palace of Pharaoh by his wife, Asiya (RA), who kept him safe. Growing up, Musa realized the misery of his people. One day, he unknowingly slayed an Egyptian while protecting an Israelite, and he had to run away to Midian.

In Midian, Musa got married and lived in harmony until he got divine revelation. Allah instructed him to go back to Egypt and challenge Pharaoh. With his brother Harun (Aaron, peace be upon him) accompanying him, Musa insisted on the release of the Israelites. Pharaoh declined, prompting a sequence of miracles, such as Musa's staff turning into a snake and the Red Sea dividing to enable the Israelites to escape.

Musa was given the Torah on Mount Sinai, leading his people with godly ordinances. In spite of their hardship, he did not waver from his calling. His life is an example of patience, faith in Allah, and doing justice.

The legacy of Hazrat Musa continues to inspire believers, reminding them that religion and patience can overcome even the strongest adversities  seemore.........
